When I was five, I was given my first budgie, when I was nine, I started my first breeding of parakeets. With the help of my parents I have bred parrots and parakeets for more than 30 years, up to 35 pairs of parrots and Australian Parakeets at the same time.
Furthermore I have worked in several big breeding facilities and parks and acted as consultant, e.g.
- in the Avicultural Breeding and Research Center in Loxahatchee, Florida, USA
- in the Vogelpark Walsrode, Germany
- at Bird International, Inc., Manila, Philippines
- In the Palmitos Park Gran Canaria, Spain
- As well as various private breeding collections in Europe, Asia, the USA and Australia
